With a new year comes new trends. We have decided to collate and curate the best of what to expect in 2021 for bridal trends. We know this list will help draw inspiration and ideas for what gorgeous styles you may want to try on throughout your bridal journey.
Capes

Capes have become the modern version of a veil, they offer the same stylish and romantic qualities, while complimenting the dress. We love this classic White April Lace gown from their ‘day dreaming’ collection, it offers a cropped cape that gives the illusion of sleeves. The most perfect thing about this dress is that the cape can be removed to create a two in one look.
Tea Length

The tea length dress is perfect for an outdoor wedding (especially in Australian climate), due to its shorter nature. However, tea length dresses do offer to be a shorter alternative to the classic floor length gowns but don’t be scared of it being too short as tea length insinuates that it will sit just below the knee. The tea length dress provides a chic statement with a more playful and modern twist.

Tiered Ball Gowns

Ball gowns are being taken up a level with the use of adding volume through layers to form these tiered statement dresses. Tiered tulle elements makes these dresses look effortlessly wearable without adding excess weight.
You will feel glamorous and playful with this chic voluminous and contemporary gown. The texture and style allows for movement and makes for the perfect gown to dance in.
Or add a touch of sparkly tulle to bring a bigger WOW factor to this statement.
Minimalistic

Minimalistic silhouettes and fabrics are what you’ll be seeing a lot of in 2021 bridal trends. As we’ve seen in the last year weddings have been cancelled or postponed, allowing us to all reflect on what is important.
Thus why the modern and minimalistic gowns are massive trend this season, these gowns take pride in being a statement. They utilise simplicity, while grabbing our excitement through their architectural values of clean line and shapes.
A Touch of Sparkle

2021 is all about bringing the sparkle back to life. Adding a touch of sparkle to any gown can create dimension, excitement and charm.
